GRE Chemistry Subject Test – Retest Time and Procedure
- The subject GRE chemistry test follows a paper-based format. Therefore, if you are unable to perform well in the test in your first attempt or you feel that the scores are not reflecting your true abilities, then you can take the test again. However, do not expect a quantum leap in your scores. In fact, there have been occasions, when the score declined.
- In order to avoid losing a year, you should register early for the re-test, so that the scores reach the college before admission begins. Thus, you have to plan for the test in advance and have three to four months for preparation.
- The scores of the subject chemistry test are made available within five days of the examination and after that you will have a sixty days waiting period within which you have to decide if you wish to appear for the re-test and have to accordingly fill up the application form. You can take the subject test any number of times offered by ETS
