GRE Biochemistry Subject Test – Percentile and Ball-Park scores

Biochemistry GRE Percentile Score

There are two bases on which the biochemistry GRE score is calculated;

  • Raw score
  • The Percentile Score, where your score will be calculated on the basis of comparison with the other candidates taking the test.  This is an important mode of marking that often prove to be influential while getting admission to your institutes of choice. After the raw scores of students are calculated and those are converted to scaled score, the percentile score of the candidate is considered for giving him admission.

Biochemistry Ball Park Score

  • The Ball Park score is a yardstick that is used to select candidates, who apply for admission to various universities in the U.S. Since there are several applicants, it is difficult to judge their quality.
  • The Ball Park score starts at 1300 and it is quite difficult to get chance to a reputed graduation school otherwise. Usually, all the prestigious universities look for students scoring as high a score as 80 to 90 percent
