Important things to remember while registering for Subject GRE:
Some important tips for Subject GRE registration:
- First and foremost, it is always preferable to register early because the test centers fill up real fast.
- Secondly, always take the test as soon as possible to be on the safe side. The earlier your scores reach the college or university you want to go to, the better it is for you since the institution gets more time to consider your application.
- Thirdly, while you register, make sure that you spell your name correctly. It should match the spelling of your name printed on the identification documents you produce at the test center. If both the spellings do not match, then you may not be permitted to sit for the test and even your test fee may get forfeited.
- Fourthly, you should always remember that all the details and information regarding the availability of the test center is subject to change. So you need to keep on checking on those details till the day of exam. The latest information regarding the test dates, the test centers and other registration details are generally available in the GRE online registration system for the exams.
- Do remember that although you have the option to choose the date of the test and the center during registration, none of these are confirmed until your registration is completely processed.
- You are supposed to receive your test admission ticket about three weeks after you register. So if you do not get the ticket at least 10 days before the test date. you need to contact ETS right away to validate your test center.
